Xiao Ming


Xiao Ming is the founder of M Badminton Academy and oversees the management of the academy's badminton program. Started his coaching journey 8 years ago, Xiao Ming has been taking various important coaching roles such as the head coach of junior badminton program at SAFRA MT FABER and assistant instructor for ActiveSG junior classes.

As a shuttler, XiaoMing had won various titles in local tournaments such as Singapore national game and had participated in Singapore University Games and is the current president of SUTD badminton team. With his strong foundation in the sport, he manages to develop lasting relationships with trainees in the region, assisting them to achieve greater heights in the sport by using a tested & proven training methodology.



As the manager of the academy, Joseph oversees the planning of training schedules, and administrative processes. He hopes to leverage the passion students have for badminton, towards cultivating an enriching and enjoyable environment for them.

Jia Xin

Operation manager

Jia Xin is an NUS student athlete who represented his hall and faculty (FASS) in various competitions with more than 10 years of playing experience. He had also won various tournaments on the national level representing Hwa Chong Institution back in his JC time. 

The Econ & Statistic double major undergraduate is experienced in maintaining structure and carefully managing sports organizations thanks to his attention to detail which makes a difference.

Made Citra

Technical director & Coach

Made Citra was an athlete under Singapore national team from 2004-2019. His effective coaching methodology and friendly character had inspired and won the heart of many Singapore youth players and badminton enthusiasts.

Made had assisted the academy in establishing the technical structure of the training program.

Timothy Phang


As a player, Timothy joined the national Intermediate squad, representing Singapore for international competitions during his school time.


The current captain of Raffles Institution badminton team had over a decade of experience as a player, clinching major titles such as Asean school games 2nd runner-up, national A division champion as well as the best sports boy of the year title awarded by MOE.

Joel Lim


Joel, the vice-president of SUTD badminton team 2018/2019 is experience with event management & operation. Formerly representing Hwa Chong institution at A division national level competition and had gotten top 8. Joel has enormous passion and experience in the sport, and is one of the main coach for our junior badminton program.



Zenn is a highly experienced and well-regarded coach in Singapore. As a player, Zenn had represented SUTD in the Singapore university games and is the president of the school team. Zenn also won various titles at the national A division championship representing Anderson JC.



Sean is currently a student athlete in NTU, represented the school and won 1st runner-up at the Singapore university game 2019. Apart from the competitive scene, Sean had 3 years of coaching experience before joining the academy.

Peng Joon


Peng Joon has being in the sport for over 10 years, Currently studying at NUS, majoring in quantitative finance, is also a student athlete representing Raffles hall for many major tournaments. He's a well rounded individual that is capable to carry out high quality training programs while inculcating moral values to the trainees.
